Edition 5 - Progress is Progress

Hi all,

We’re excited to welcome you all back for this week’s read.

Firstly, we want to mention some exciting news for Linx Media. We are about to sign another big retainer client, which will put us very close to a position where we can quit our part-time jobs and have more resources to expand and grow our current operations. We will give more details in upcoming editions once contracts are signed and everything is official 🫣. This is very exciting for us moving forward.

Next on the agenda, we want to talk about progress. In our previous newsletters, we have spoken about the power of starting, getting the job done no matter what, and the importance of small private victories. All of these are, in some way, shape, or form, linked to PROGRESS.

When the both of us reflected on this past week, there was unanimous agreement that this has been our slowest week in quite a while in terms of making progress (despite gaining a huge client). The good thing is that we can recognise this and pick it back up for the weeks ahead. The main message, however, is that regardless of what you're doing, how much you're doing, or anything else, you MUST be doing SOMETHING! This week we could have easily justified a few days off to take a break with a concussion and the flu, but at the very least we did something every day, we kept moving forward. There are going to be times when it feels as though the work you have done has made you no progress. But whether or not you can see results, every bit of work you do is one step closer to where you want to be. Every gym session is one step closer to the physique you want. Anyway, if you can take anything away from this, it's that no matter how small, how big, or how significant, PROGRESS IS PROGRESS!

Another quick takeaway we’d like to share from this week is from a short clip we saw of Dana White talking about why he hates sleeping because of how much he loves his life. In the grand scheme of it all, that's the point, isn’t it? That's the whole point of life—to be able to enjoy your life. It might sound cliché these days, but it's the truth. Success is not determined by metrics such as money or business performance, but by how happy you are with your life. For us, the late nights getting jobs done, long hours of sorting through content, and just learning and growing towards our goals truly makes us happy.

If you can take anything away from this newsletter, it's to be constantly making progress no matter how small and to just enjoy your life. Enjoy the little things: the first sip of coffee, a hug, running, reading, working, chatting to friends, whatever it may be that you enjoy. Life is too short to NOT enjoy every day!

We hope you enjoyed this read and that you can take some value from what we've spoken about today.

Until next time 🫡
