Edition 4 - Private Victories

Welcome back everyone!

This week Newsletter is focused around a concept mentioned by someone who actually gave us our first idea to start this business model, Iman Ghadzi. The saying ‘private victories’ means all the little wins each day that nobody sees and slowly overtime amount to the public successes that are bound to be attained.

Our week started off with a very productive Monday morning, starting with a 5:45 air locker session followed straight by a Muay Thai session at Mack’s Muay Thai down in Burleigh. We made the most of our opportunity training  at Muay Thai as we on boarded the gym as a new client. With such a good start to the week by lunch time Monday we were building our momentum to propel us to another week of small private wins. Our next few days were jampacked with lots of planning organising and having meetings with current and potential clients.

This week we also embarked on a potential avenue for linx media’s scope. We were asked by good friend of ours, Todd Carney to secretly film him proposing to his now fiancé Susi on Friday afternoon down in byron bay.

Following our initial discussion we recognised how good of an opportunity this was and we went and invested in some more equipment we would now need. So we bought new microphones (which will come handy for a big project coming up 😉) and a new lens as well as borrowing a second camera for the shoot.

By Friday afternoon we found ourselves just as nervous as Todd. However nerves indicates that something is important and that you care.

We clicked into gear and began setting up, with little communication between ourselves and Todd the scene was set and we were ready to go. The shoot went very well and it was so good to be part of such a special moment . We then raced back up the highway to our mates 19th birthday where we treated ourselves to a couple  $100 steaks, paid for directly from our earlier shoot.

Saturday was another big day as we started nice and early with an intense workout at AirLockerBH followed by a full day of editing our content for Todd and Susi so we could have the video back to them as soon as possible.

To end the week both of us were present down in Byron to do a bit of filming for A grade, Old boys day. Unfortunately, Sunday didn’t go-as planned as the weather made it , difficult to film and Sarge got knocked out five minutes into the game and then had to go to hospital following with a concussion.

Despite the sore head and no content to come from Sunday. The both of us sat quite pleased with our weeks progression of private victories and marginal gains.
