Edition 12 - Pain & Suffering
Hello Linx Media Community,
Welcome to the 12th edition of our weekly newsletter. What have we learnt this week? We’ve come to a realisation that not only is pain an struggle inevitable, but theres actually good that comes from it, more good than you think.
Pain and struggle are inevitable parts of life, and while they suck and make you feel like the world will end when they happen they are also essential for growth. Not just physically but in every aspect if life including business and personal development, experiencing and overcoming challenges is how you improve and accomplish goals.
In the business world for example, you get rejected on the daily, and of course it sucks being told no. But on the flip side, every no is one no closer to a yes. Rejection is also a perfect way to analyse where you went wrong and learn and grow and be better next time. Similar with financial struggles. Yes, it is extremely likely that you will experience times where the money isnt flowing and you have bills to pay, and everything is falling apart. It happens. But, like the rejection you can use this is a lesson to learn where you can cut expenses, or structure your financials a bit differently.
When it comes to health, putting our bodies through high-stress (painful) situations is actually really good for you. Think of ice baths, saunas, intense exercise. At the the time of every one of these activities its likely your going to struggle and feel pain. but are they good for you? ABSOLUTELY! Ice baths help reduce inflammation and speed up recovery, while saunas promote detoxification and cardiovascular health. Exercise strengthens our muscles, improves our endurance, and boosts our overall well-being. Putting our bodies in these high stress environments allows us to adapt and become healthier and stronger.
Same goes on a personal level, experiencing pain and struggle is essential for growth. These experiences teach us about our strengths and weaknesses, helping us become more self-aware. Embracing pain and struggle allows us to become resilient and deal with future problems and stressful situations with ease.
On a slightly different note, but the same message, we have learnt that the ability and quality to be able to tolerate and manage stress is so important in becoming successful. Obviously, still being quite small scale the problems we deal with are not comaprable to that of major corporations but the same principle applies. Stressful and ‘Painful’ situations will inevitably arise, and to be successful you need to be able to tolerate the stress and manage it to keep moving forward. You need to be able to provide direction to a Team, when you yourself have no idea where the next step is, you need to be able to have all the bills paid and food on the table when your biggest client is late to pay an invoice. All these things, if you want to be a successful business owner, you need to be able to deal with ALL of this.
Anyways thats what we’ve learnt this week. How about you? What have you learnt? We’d love to hear from any of you, whether it something small youve learnt this week, if you’ve learnt something from us, or if you have nay feedback advice for us to learn some more. We want to hear it all, so give us a message on instagram which should be attached below. That all for this edition, we hope you’ve enjoyed, thanks for reading once again and well see you again next week.
Remember THERE IS NO LIGHT WITHOUT DARK.
Warm regards,
